Make colorful and fun Trix™ cereal bars for movie night; the perfect mix of fruity, sweet, and sour flavors that will be a hit!
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 1/2 cups Trix™ cereal
  • 1/4 cup tiny, tangy, crunchy rainbow candy
  • 1 tablespoon colored candy sprinkles (blue, purple, orange)
Instructions:
  • Cover a 9-inch square pan with foil, allowing some to hang over the sides to assist in easy removal, and then coat with cooking spray.
  • In a large microwavable bowl, melt butter in microwave for 30 to 45 seconds on High. Stir in marshmallows until coated, then microwave for 60 to 90 seconds until smooth. Mix in cereal and rainbow candy.
  • Using greased hands or waxed paper, press the mixture firmly into the pan; then, sprinkle candy sprinkles on top and lightly press them to adhere. Allow it to cool for 30 minutes, then remove from the pan, discard the foil, and cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.
