Ultimate grilled cheese with two cheeses and fresh herbs, quick and easy to make.
Ingredients:
  • 1 slice sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 slice mozzarella cheese
  • 2 thick bread slices
  • 1 pinch dried oregano, or to taste
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Layer the bread with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Melt butter in a pan over gentle heat. Place sandwich in the pan and cook until cheeses are melty, for 3 to 5 minutes, adjusting heat if necessary. Flip and continue cooking until golden and crispy, for another 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Cut the dish in half and sprinkle with fresh parsley and chives for a vibrant finish.
