Sink your teeth into a deliciously eerie vampire cake at your Halloween party.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O™ strawberry-flavored gelatin
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
  • 2 tubes (0.68 oz each) red decorating gel
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly spray the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Prepare and bake the cake mix according to the instructions on the box for a 13x9-inch pan, using water, oil, and egg whites. Allow the cake to cool in the pan on a rack for 20 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Poke warm cake all over with a wooden skewer, then pour gelatin over cake to fill in the holes. Let it cool completely for about 1 hour.
  • Cover the cake with a layer of frosting, then elegantly drizzle red decorating gel on top. Keep the cake covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
