Elevate your Italian dinner with savory veal scaloppini served with fresh lemon wedges in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 lb veal for scaloppini*
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine, nonalcoholic white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 lemon, cut into 4 wedges
Instructions:
  • Combine the flour and garlic salt in a shallow dish, then coat the veal evenly with the mixture.
  • In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, warm 2 tablespoons of oil. Sear half of the veal for about 5 minutes, flipping once, until golden brown. Set aside the veal to keep warm. Repeat with the rest of the oil and veal. Discard any excess oil and overly browned bits from the skillet.
  • In a skillet, combine butter, wine, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, scraping off any brown bits. Simmer until the liquid reduces by half and thickens slightly. Pour the flavorful sauce over the veal, garnish with lemon wedges, and enjoy.
