Ingredients:
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 40.00 ml sage leaves, thinly sliced
  • 8 baby bocconcini cheese, halved
  • 4 thin veal steaks
  • Cooked pasta spirals, to serve
  • Fresh sage leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a small frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until onion is tender, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and sage leaves, reduce heat to low, and simmer until sauce thickens, about 6-8 minutes. Add bocconcini and simmer until it just starts to melt, about 1-2 minutes. Serve hot.
  • Heat the rest of the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat, then cook the veal for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Serve with sauce, pasta, and sage.
