Delicious vegan sugar cookies made with applesauce and almond milk, rolled in cinnamon-sugar for a tasty treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (4 ounce) container applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla-flavored almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup cinnamon-sugar
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  • In a separate large bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Then, add the flour mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Divide the dough into 14 portions and shape them into balls. Coat the dough balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture by rolling them in a wide, shallow bowl. Place the coated balls on a baking sheet.
  • Bake until beautifully golden in a preheated oven for around 10 minutes.
