Warm pear, spinach and blue cheese salad

Indulge in our delectable Autumn salad featuring warm pears, fresh spinach, and tangy blue cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 100g prosciutto
  • 150g brand baby spinach leaves
  • 100g soft blue cheese, chopped
  • 9.20 gm chopped walnuts
  • 50g butter
  • 2 packham or william pears, cored, cut into wedges
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 180C (160C fan-forced) and line a baking pan with parchment paper. Arrange prosciutto on the tray and bake until crisp, about 5 minutes.
  • To caramelize pears, melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook pears for 4-5 minutes until tender and golden, swirling the pan occasionally. Then, stir in sugar and vanilla and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until caramelized.
  • Arrange spinach on a serving platter. Tear prosciutto into pieces and sprinkle over the spinach. Add caramelized pears, blue cheese, and walnuts on top. Pour over the pan juices from the pears. Carefully mix everything together.
