Quick and easy whole wheat dosa, perfect with chutney, sambar, or curry. Ready in minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch baking soda
  • 1.75 cups water, or more as needed
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, combine flour, 2 tablespoons of oil, salt, and baking soda. Mix vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes until well combined. Add 1 3/4 cups of water and continue mixing until the batter is smooth, without any lumps or chunks of flour, adjusting with more water if necessary.
  • Heat a generous amount of oil on the griddle over medium heat. Ladle the batter onto the griddle and spread it in a circular motion. Cook until the edges turn golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate and continue with the remaining batter, adding oil as needed between batches.
