Elevate white chocolate truffles with a touch of silver leaf for luxurious gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 180g pkts white chocolate, chopped
  • 125ml thickened cream
  • 20.00 ml Grand Marnier liqueur
  • 2 x 180g pkts white chocolate, extra
  • Vegetable oil, to brush
  • Silver leaf, to decorate (see note)
Instructions:
  • In a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, combine chocolate, cream, and Grand Marnier. Stir with a metal spoon until chocolate is melted and smooth. Remove from heat, cover, and refrigerate until firm to roll into balls, about 1 hour.
  • Cover an oven tray with baking paper. Shape 1 1/2 teaspoonfuls of chocolate mixture into balls and arrange them on the tray. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until solid.
  • Melt extra chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  • Dip truffles in chocolate using a fork, tapping off excess. Place on tray and let set for 30 minutes.
  • Brush each truffle with a touch of oil. Place a leaf on top using tweezers and gently press to secure. Repeat with the rest of the truffles and store in an airtight container.
