Sweet honey whole wheat pizza dough topped with your favorite toppings for the ultimate pizza party.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 0.25 cup wheat germ
  • 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and dust a 12-inch pizza pan with flour.
  • Combine yeast and warm water in a small bowl. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes, until creamy.
  • Combine flour, wheat germ, and salt in a large bowl. Create a well in the center and pour in honey and yeast mixture. Mix thoroughly. Cover and allow to rise in a warm place for a few minutes.
  • Place the dough onto the pizza pan and roll it out to fit the shape of the pan. Use a fork to gently poke a few holes in the dough.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until crispy, 5 to 10 minutes.
