Winter waldorf salad

Iconic Waldorf salad: creamy mayo, crunchy walnuts, tangy blue cheese - simply divine!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 celery stalks, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 57.50 gm roughly chopped walnuts
  • 61.88 gm whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 11.80 gm wholegrain mustard
  • 280g apple
  • 50g mild blue cheese, chopped
Instructions:
  • 1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. 2. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened. 3. Mix in celery and garlic and cook for 3 minutes until fragrant. 4. Toss in 1/3 cup walnuts and cook for 1 more minute.
  • In a spacious bowl, mix together mayonnaise and mustard, then fold in the apple until well blended.
  • Mix the celery mixture with the mayonnaise mixture, then sprinkle cheese and remaining walnuts on top. Enjoy!
