Honey-soy marinated chicken skewers: a tasty twist on BBQ classics!
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup honey
  • 0.33333334326744 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 5 small onion, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 medium red bell peppers, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 12 bamboo skewers, or as needed, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions:
  • Prepare the marinade by combining honey, soy sauce, oil, and black pepper in a large glass bowl and whisking together until well blended.
  • Transfer 1/4 cup of the marinade to a sealed jar and save for later use during cooking.
  • Combine chicken, onions, bell peppers, and garlic with the marinade in a large bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat and oil the grate lightly before cooking.
  • Separate the chicken and vegetables from the marinade and discard the marinade. Skewer the chicken and vegetables alternately.
  • Place the kabobs on the sizzling grill. Grill while turning and basting with the reserved marinade until perfectly browned on all sides and the chicken is cooked through, for about 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Enjoy your meal while it's still hot!
