Indulgent peanut butter ice cream with peanut butter cups - a delightful treat for everyone!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter (such as Jif®)
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chopped peanut butter cups (such as Reese's®)
Instructions:
  • Warm milk in a saucepan on medium heat until steaming, around 4 minutes. Combine egg yolks and sugar in a large bowl. Gradually whisk in the hot milk until smooth; then return the mixture to the saucepan and cook on medium heat.
  • Combine peanut butter and vanilla extract into the milk mixture, stirring slowly until well blended for about 5 minutes. Transfer the peanut mixture into a large bowl and let it cool for 15 minutes.
  • Combine heavy cream and peanut butter cups into the milk mixture, then transfer the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze as per the manufacturer's directions.
