Za'atar seasoned roasted potatoes - a flavorful blend of Middle Eastern spices with thyme, sesame seeds, sumac, and salt.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons za'atar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil until well coated. Sprinkle with za'atar, salt, and pepper, then toss again to ensure even coating. Transfer the seasoned potatoes to the baking sheet.
  • Place a baking sheet on the lowest rack of a cold oven and preheat to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C. Roast potatoes until they are golden brown and tender, about 30 to 35 minutes, remembering to stir halfway through.
