Colorful stacked watermelon and strawberry cake with fun cut-out shapes using assorted fresh fruits and berries, perfect for all ages.
Ingredients:
  • 1 seedless watermelon
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cantaloupe - seeded, peeled, and sliced
  • 1 fresh pineapple - peeled, cored, and sliced
Instructions:
  • Begin by slicing the watermelon into 3, 1 to 2-inch thick slices. Remove the rind from each slice and place the largest one on a cake plate. Layer sliced strawberries, cantaloupe, and fresh pineapple on top, then add the next watermelon slice. Repeat this process to create a beautiful layered fruit "cake."
  • Thinly slice the remaining melon and pineapple. Use cookie cutters or a sharp knife to create decorative shapes from the fruit slices. Garnish the cake tiers with the cut fruit shapes and any leftover berries.
  • Chill until ready to serve. Slice the cake into individual wedges using a sharp knife and place each wedge on a plate.
