Create a tropical angel food cake with just crushed pineapple and boxed mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package angel food cake mix
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, in juice
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the dry cake mix with crushed pineapple and juice. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium speed and beat for 1 minute. Transfer the batter to an ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes until deep golden brown. Remove from the oven and invert immediately to cool for about 2 hours.
  • Gently loosen the edges with a knife and flip the cooled cake onto a serving plate. Slice using a serrated knife.
