4-ingredient apple and banana bread

Indulge in irresistible toasted banana bread topped with butter and strawberry jam!
Ingredients:
  • 450.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 3 over-ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 x 140g tubs apple puree
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Grease a 7cm-deep, 11cm x 21cm loaf pan and line it with 2 layers of baking paper, making sure to extend the paper 2cm above the edges of the pan.
  • In a large bowl, create a well in the center of the flour. Add in the banana, egg, and apple puree. Stir thoroughly to blend everything together. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and use a spatula to even out the top.
  • Bake for 50 minutes or until golden and a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it rest in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack lined with baking paper to cool completely.
  • Slice the banana bread and then toast it before serving.
