Quick and simple mini cinnamon rolls made with refrigerator biscuits, perfect bite-sized treat for kids or anytime snacking.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 pinch brown sugar, or more to taste
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 0.75 cup confectioners' sugar, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 16-cup mini muffin tin.
  • On a work surface, unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 2 sections along the perforated lines. Brush each half with melted butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll them into logs and cut each log into 8 sections. Place the slices into the muffin cups.
  • Bake rolls in a hot oven until they turn a beautiful golden brown, which should take around 8 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine milk and maple syrup, then gradually whisk in confectioners' sugar until you reach the desired icing consistency. Drizzle the icing over warm rolls.
