Air-fried cherry cream cheese dessert egg rolls coated in sweet cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.33333334326744 cup cherry jam
  • 0.25 cup dried tart red cherries, chopped
  • 16 (3.5 inch square) wonton wrappers
  • water, as needed
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to a perfect 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and jam, then mix in the dried cherries.
  • Lay a wonton wrapper on a flat surface with a corner facing you. Dampen the edges with water. Put a heaping teaspoon of cherry mixture slightly below the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tucking it under on the other side. Fold the side corners over the filling, then roll the egg roll away from you towards the remaining corner. Repeat the process with the rest of the wrappers and filling.
  • Spray both sides of the egg rolls with cooking spray and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.
  • Air fry until beautifully golden and crispy, around 4 to 5 minutes in the preheated air fryer.
  • Combine sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl, whisking until well mixed.
  • Take out the egg rolls from the air fryer and coat them generously in cinnamon sugar using two forks before placing them on a wire rack to cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve while warm.
