Whip up a refreshing tequila punch with citrus and sugar, served in a chilled gallon jar. Packs a delightful punch!
Ingredients:
  • 5 lemons
  • 5 limes
  • 0.75 cup white sugar, or to taste
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle tequila
  • 4 cups ice cubes, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Rinse the lemons and limes, then quarter them. Squeeze the fruit quarters into a 1-gallon glass ice tea jar, then add the squeezed fruit to the jar. Fill the jar with ice cubes, sugar, and tequila. If some ice melts, top off with more cubes. Seal the jar, and wrap it with a damp hand towel, ensuring it's not too wet.
  • Invite a circle of 8 friends to shake the jar consecutively for 3 to 5 minutes each. The drink is done when the sugar dissolves, and the hand towel freezes and sticks to the jar. Pour into ice-filled glasses and serve.
