Easy and delicious recipe for baked acorn squash with butter and brown sugar - a crowd-pleasing treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 medium acorn squash, halved and seeded
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Assemble all ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect temperature to start cooking.
  • Arrange acorn squash halves, cut-side down, on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until the flesh softens, approximately 30-45 minutes.
  • Take the squash out of the oven. Place one squash half, cut-side up, in a deep baking dish. Fill the cavity with butter and brown sugar. Cover with the remaining squash half, cut-side down, to seal.
  • Bake until flesh is soft, approximately 30 minutes in the oven.
  • Serve the dish piping hot for maximum enjoyment!
