Delicious mini pizzas made with puff pastry squares, garlicky butter crust, Italian cheese, and pasta sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (17.5 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed in the refrigerator
  • 1 (14 ounce) jar pasta sauce, or to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Italian cheese blend
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 0.25 cup crumbled cooked bacon, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and prepare a cookie sheet. Make sure to have all your ingredients ready as the puff pastry will need to be taken out of the fridge quickly.
  • Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then mix in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder until combined.
  • Take out 1 sheet of puff pastry from the refrigerator, keeping the other sheet chilled. Carefully unfold the sheet onto your workspace. Gently press any cracked areas back together. Cut the sheet into 6 squares and arrange them on a baking sheet with 1 1/2 to 2 inches of space between each square. Brush the edges of each square with garlic butter. Spoon sauce onto the center of each square and sprinkle with Italian cheese, mushrooms, and bacon.
  • Bake in the oven until beautifully puffed and golden, approximately 15 minutes.
  • While the first batch is baking, continue to slice, brush, and top the second sheet of puff pastry. Bake the second batch for 15 minutes.
