"Upgraded comfort food: Chicken and ham casserole with Swiss cheese - easy and delicious!"
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  • 1 pound cubed boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 0.125 teaspoon paprika, or more to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of broccoli soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat, then coat it with olive oil. Add chicken and brown on all sides for 5 to 7 minutes. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in onion and garlic, cook until softened for about 5 minutes, then add ham and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Combine condensed soups, sour cream, 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, and chicken broth in a separate bowl. Mix into the chicken until fully combined. Transfer mixture to a large casserole dish and sprinkle with the remaining Swiss cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the casserole is fully cooked and the cheese is gooey, for 20 to 25 minutes.
