Festive brown sugar cookies coated in powdered sugar, perfect for the holidays and even more delicious the day after!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.75 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect bake.
  • In a bowl, use an electric mixer to blend brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl and whisk together. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir until dough is fully combined.
  • Spread confectioners' sugar on a large plate. Drop 1 1/2 teaspoons of dough per cookie onto the sugar and roll to coat. Place the coated dough on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Allow cookies to cool on the baking pan for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
