Ingredients:
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine brown sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs in a large bowl. Use an electric mixer or a spoon to blend until smooth. Mix in flour, baking soda, and pecans.
  • Roll the dough into 1 1/4-inch balls and space them 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 10 to 14 minutes until edges turn a light golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
