Cozy up with a winter fondue featuring delicious pigs in blankets made with Pillsbury crescent rolls.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (14 oz) precooked cocktail links, drained and patted dry
  • 2 cans (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
  • 1 lb sharp Cheddar cheese, grated (6 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup stout or beer
  • 6 tablespoons frozen (thawed) apple juice concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Gently unroll each can of crescent dough into a long rectangle and securely press down on the perforations to seal them. With a small knife, slice the dough into 1-inch by 4-inch strips to match the number of cocktail links in the package, which should be around 48 strips.
  • Wrap each cocktail link with a dough strip in the middle and place on an ungreased cookie sheet, seam side down, spaced about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
  • Combine grated cheese and flour in a large bowl. In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, swirl in the olive oil and add the garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in stout, apple juice concentrate, ground mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and gradually add cheese in small batches, stirring constantly until smooth and thick. Adjust consistency by stirring in more stout as needed. Enjoy your delicious fondue!
  • Enjoy your warm, gooey fondue right away, alongside some tasty pigs in a blanket.
