Air fryer beef tenderloin with oregano, salt, and pepper: juicy like filet mignon, crispy crust.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds beef tenderloin, at room temperature
  • 0.5 teaspoon cracked black pepper
Instructions:
  • Heat up the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Dry the tenderloin with paper towels, then lay it on a plate. Drizzle oil all over the meat and season with oregano, salt, and pepper. Massage the spices and oil onto the meat. Place the tenderloin into the preheated air fryer basket, adjusting as necessary to fit. Close the lid.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 390°F (198°C) and continue cooking for 22 minutes. Then, reduce the heat to 360°F (182°C) and cook for an additional 10 minutes until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the tenderloin reads 135°F (57°C) for medium doneness.
  • Transfer the tenderloin to a platter and let it rest, uncovered, for a minimum of 10 minutes before serving.
