Try these delicious air fryer hot honey chicken bites for a quick and easy snack. They are juicy, crispy, and egg-free, with a sweet and spicy kick from the hot honey coating. Skip the hot oil and oil splatters by using the air fryer for a faster cooking process.
Ingredients:
  • 125g (2 1/2 cups) panko breadcrumbs
  • 60g (3/4 cup) shredded parmesan
  • 10.00 gm smoked paprika
  • 185g butter, melted
  • 500g chicken breast fillets, cut into 3cm pieces
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) honey
  • 2-3 tsp sriracha chilli sauce, to taste
Instructions:
  • Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, and paprika in a shallow bowl. Season the mixture. Place butter in another shallow bowl. Coat a piece of chicken in butter, letting excess drip off. Press chicken in breadcrumb mixture. Repeat for a double coating. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the rest of the chicken. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Arrange half of the chicken pieces in the air fryer basket, giving them space between each piece. Spritz with oil. Air fry at 180C for 12 minutes or until golden and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and loosely cover with foil to stay warm. Repeat with the rest of the chicken.
  • Prepare the hot honey sauce by heating the honey in a microwave-safe jug for 30-60 seconds. Mix in sriracha to taste and stir until well combined.
  • Serve the chicken bites by drizzling them with the hot honey sauce.
