Air-fried pizza egg rolls: A guilt-free fusion of East and West for late-night cravings!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (10 ounce) package egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup marinara sauce, divided
  • 10 ounces mini pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C following the manufacturer's guidance.
  • Slice mozzarella cheese into 6-inch sticks.
  • Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface in a diamond shape. Spread 1 teaspoon of marinara sauce on the bottom third of the wrapper. Top it with 1 mozzarella stick and 2 tablespoons of mini pepperoni.
  • Roll the bottom point over the filling towards the center, then fold the left and right sides of the wrapper over to cover the center, similar to folding an envelope. Continue rolling the egg roll up until just the top point is showing. Brush water on the top point and fold down, ensuring to brush more water over the edges to seal.
  • Continue with the rest of the egg rolls, brush them with olive oil, and sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic salt on top.
  • Coat the air fryer basket with a drizzle of olive oil. Place the egg rolls in the basket seam side-down, ensuring they do not touch. Lower the temperature to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C) and air fry for 8 minutes, remembering to flip them halfway through. Serve alongside the extra marinara sauce.
