Delicious almond crescent cookies, buttery and nutty, perfect for tea or coffee!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of butter, room temperature
  • 2/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 2 1/2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of almond flour (can substitute ground almonds*)
  • 1/4 cup of powdered sugar for sprinkling
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Cream the butter and sugar to fluffy perfection, then incorporate the vanilla and almond extracts for a flavorful twist.
  • Combine the flour and almond flour, ensuring they are mixed well.
  • Shape dough into crescents: Scoop generous tablespoons of slightly crumbly dough into small balls, roughly an inch in diameter. Gently shape into crescents and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake: Cook at 350°F until light golden brown, approximately 15-20 minutes.
  • Sprinkle each cookie with a snowy layer of powdered sugar to add a touch of sweet elegance. Enjoy!
