Make your grilled trout gourmet with shallots, parsley, and nut-crusted goodness for added flavor and crunch.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup chopped almonds
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped shallots
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1.25 pounds trout fillets
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by preheating it to medium-high heat and coating the grate lightly with oil.
  • Combine almonds, parsley, shallots, and bread crumbs in a food processor until finely processed. Mix in more bread crumbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Massage the mixture onto the trout fillets.
  • Grill trout fillets, skin-side down, until they easily flake with a fork, for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Sprinkle freshly chopped dill over the fillets right before serving to enhance their flavor.
