Moist and tender banana bread with applesauce, egg whites, and a hint of cinnamon for a healthier, flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup banana, mashed
  • 0.25 cup applesauce
  • 2 egg whites
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8x4-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Fold in mashed banana, applesauce, and egg whites until just combined. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
  • Bake at the right temperature until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 50-55 minutes. Then cool on a wire rack before slicing.
