Irresistible seafood pasta loaded with lobster, crab, and shrimp - a guaranteed crowd favorite. Easy to prepare at home!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package bow-tie pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced shallot
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine (such as Chardonnay)
  • cayenne pepper
  • 2 pinches saffron
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound uncooked shrimp - peeled, deveined, and tails removed
  • 0.5 pound cooked lobster meat
  • 0.5 pound cooked lump crabmeat
  • lemon, juiced
Instructions:
  • Bring a big pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook bow-tie pasta until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain and toss with 1 tablespoon butter. Keep warm.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the rest of the butter. Sauté the shallot until softened, about 1 minute. Pour in the cream and wine, bring to a boil. Season with cayenne pepper, saffron, salt, and black pepper. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes; sauce will be thin.
  • In a heated frying pan, cook shrimp until opaque, 3 to 5 minutes. Add lobster and crab, cook for about 2 more minutes until heated through. Season with a light touch of salt and black pepper.
  • Stir in a medley of seafood into the pot with the delicious sauce. Pour in the zesty lemon juice and let it gently simmer over low heat for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Spoon cooked pasta into individual bowls, generously top each with 2 ladles of sauce, delicately mix together, and finish with a sprinkle of black pepper.
