Garlicky marinated prime rib slow-cooked to juicy perfection, creating a show-stopping potluck favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup soy-based liquid seasoning (such as Maggi®)
  • 0.5 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
  • 9 pounds bone-in prime rib, cut and retied to the bone
Instructions:
  • Combine the liquid seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic in a bowl. Drizzle over the prime rib in a container. Allow to marinate for 1 to 2 hours, flipping every 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Place the prime rib on a baking rack in a large baking dish for optimal cooking results.
  • Roast in the oven until the flavors are locked in, approximately 45 minutes.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C) and roast until the center reaches 130-140°F (54-60°C) on an instant-read thermometer, approximately 2 more hours.
  • Allow the prime rib to rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour before cutting.
