Angel hair pasta with crab, chilli and tomato

Indulgent crab and light angel hair pasta create a quick, fresh dish.
Ingredients:
  • 90ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • 2 red chillies, de-seeded and finely diced
  • 250g fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 150ml cream
  • 350g raw crab meat
  • 450g angel hair pasta (see note)
  • 60.00 ml fresh basil, chopped
Instructions:
  • Get a big saucepan, fill it with salted water, and bring it to a boil.
  • In a large, heavy frypan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, chilli, and tomato, and cook for 1 minute.
  • Turn up the heat, pour in the cream, and bring to a boil. Toss in the crab meat to cook evenly. Cook for an additional minute. While that's cooking, boil angel hair pasta, drain it, and add it to the saucepan with the crab mixture. Sprinkle with basil, season with sea salt and cracked black pepper, toss everything together, and serve right away.
