Versatile Anzac biscuit recipe customizable to any taste preference.
Ingredients:
  • 312.50 ml plain flour, sifted
  • 100.00 gm Traditional Rolled Oats
  • 107.50 gm caster sugar
  • 63.75 gm Desiccated Coconut
  • 150g Organic Unsalted Butter
  • 53.60 gm golden syrup or treacle
  • 30.00 gm water
  • 1.25 gm Bicarbonate Soda
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 170C. Combine flour, oats, sugar, and coconut in a large bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  • Combine golden syrup and butter in a saucepan over low heat until butter is fully melted. Mix bicarb soda with 1 1/2 tablespoons water, then add to syrup mixture (it will bubble). Remove from heat once combined.
  • Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients until well blended.
  • Shape the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls and set them on baking trays lined with non-stick baking paper, gently flattening the tops.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes.
