Apple and prosciutto bruschetta

Elevate your bread game with crispy prosciutto and sweet apple duo.
Ingredients:
  • 8 thick slices crusty Italian bread
  • 350g feta
  • 1 garlic clove, halved
  • 40.00 ml flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped
  • 8 thin slices prosciutto
  • 1 apple, halved, cored, thinly sliced
  • 20.00 ml balsamic vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill on high heat. Arrange the bread on a baking tray. Drain the feta, saving 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil. Brush both sides of the bread slices with the reserved oil. Grill the bread for 1 minute on each side until lightly golden. Rub the cut side of garlic over one side of the bread.
  • In a bowl, crumble feta and mix in parsley until incorporated. Spread the feta mixture over the garlic side of the bread.
  • Place a layer of savory prosciutto and crisp apple slices on top. Combine oil and vinegar into a flavorful vinaigrette. Season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Generously drizzle the dressing over the bruschetta. Present and enjoy.
