Indulgent apple blondies: moist and dense with crisp, chopped apples.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.66666668653488 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup peeled and chopped Granny Smith apples
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Cream together brown sugar, white sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract using an electric mixer until smooth. Mix in flour and salt until combined. Gently fold in apples and walnuts. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the top is dry and edges have begun to pull away from the sides of the pan. Allow to cool completely for 20 to 30 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar.
