Indulgent apple crumble topped with creamy ice cream - perfect for cozy nights.
Ingredients:
  • 150g (1 cup) plain flour
  • 100g (1/2 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 50g (1/2 cup) rolled oats
  • 100g chilled butter, chopped
  • 60g (1/2 cup) chopped walnuts
  • 1 x 800g can pie apple
  • Icing sugar, for dusting
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C, then mix flour, sugar, butter, and oats in a bowl.
  • Gently combine the butter with the flour mixture using your fingertips until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the walnuts and mix well.
  • Spread the apple in a 1.5L (6-cup) ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the walnut mixture on top evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Dust with icing sugar, then spoon into serving bowls and serve with ice cream.
