Quick and easy apple pie that's always a hit with friends.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
  • 5 cups apples - peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  • Layer the apple slices in the pie shell artistically. Combine 1/2 cup of sugar with cinnamon and generously sprinkle over the apples.
  • Combine 1/3 cup of sugar with flour, then work in butter until mixture is crumbly. Spread over apples.
  • Bake in a hot oven until the apples are tender and the top is golden brown, which should take around 40 minutes.
