Apple pie granola: Baked oats, pecans, raisins, butter, and brown sugar for a taste of homemade apple pie.
Ingredients:
  • 5 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted
  • 0.75 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then spread oats evenly on a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan.
  • Toast oats in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  • Mix together toasted oats, apples, pecans, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl until well incorporated, then spread the mixture evenly onto a jelly roll pan.
  • Place in the oven for 15 minutes. Mix in raisins with granola and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until granola is evenly browned. Allow granola to cool to room temperature and stir until crumbly. Store in a sealed container in the fridge.
