Indulge in a seasonal pumpkin-apple pie smoothie, topped with graham crackers, pecans, granola, or whipped cream for added delight.
Ingredients:
  • 1 apple - peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons water, or as needed
  • 0.66666668653488 cup unsweetened vanilla-flavored almond milk
  • 0.25 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1.5 teaspoons brown sugar, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.66666668653488 cup crushed ice cubes
Instructions:
  • Place the apple in a microwave-safe plastic bowl and add enough water to cover the bottom by 1/4 inch. Cover the bowl partially with a lid or paper towel. Microwave in 1-minute intervals until the apple is softened, which should take around 2 to 3 minutes. Freeze the apple in the same container with water until solid, for 2 hours or overnight.
  • In a blender, combine frozen apple, almond milk, and pumpkin puree until creamy. Add brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice, blend until smooth. Lastly, add ice and blend until creamy.
