Delicious apple-pumpkin pie with a spiced streusel topping - perfect for Autumn!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 0.25 cup dark brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup dark brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix together the pumpkin, apple butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs and evaporated milk, then pour the mixture into the pie shell.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes until a knife inserted 2 inches from the center comes out clean. Sprinkle pie with streusel topping and bake for another 15 minutes.
  • Create the irresistible streusel topping by blending together butter, flour, and 1/3 cup brown sugar in a small bowl until the mixture forms coarse crumbs. Then, add in the pecans for an extra delightful crunch.
