A delicious alternative to traditional cranberry sauce, passed down from my generous mother-in-law. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup diced dried apricots
  • 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup cider vinegar
Instructions:
  • Combine apricots, cranberries, raisins, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and cloves in a medium bowl.
  • In a saucepan, dissolve sugar in boiling water by stirring constantly. Mix in the dried fruit and vinegar. Simmer for 10 minutes after bringing to a boil. Let it cool for 5 minutes off the heat. Enjoy right away or store covered in the fridge.
