Arrabiata sauce

Spice up pasta with fiery tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 3 small red chillies, halved, deseeded, finely chopped
  • 22.20 gm tomato paste
  • 2 x 400g cans whole peeled tomatoes
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 40g baby rocket leaves
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, sizzle onion and garlic in oil until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Stir in chillies and tomato paste, cook for another minute.
  • - Incorporate tomatoes into the mixture and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens. - Mix in vinegar before seasoning with salt and pepper. - Combine with pasta, add rocket, and serve.
