Economical Asian noodle salad with only 6 ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 350g packet fresh Singapore noodles
  • 550g beef rump steak, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup sesame, ginger and soy marinade
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled, grated
  • 500.00 ml beansprouts, trimmed
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally
Instructions:
  • Place the noodles in a heatproof bowl and cover them with boiling water. Let them stand for 2 to 3 minutes until tender. Use a fork to separate the noodles, then drain and return to the bowl.
  • Coat steak in a flavorful 1 tablespoon marinade. Preheat a greased barbecue plate or chargrill over medium-high heat. Grill steak for 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium doneness or until cooked to your preference. Remove steak from heat and transfer to a plate. Allow it to rest, covered, for 5 minutes. Slice thinly before serving.
  • Mix the rest of the marinade with 2 tablespoons of cold water. Add beef, carrot, beansprouts, onion, and marinade mixture to the noodles. Toss everything together and enjoy your delicious dish.
