Microwaved asparagus topped with crunchy pumpkin and sesame seeds, perfect side for any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 pound fresh asparagus, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 0.5 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons toasted pumpkin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • In a microwave-proof dish, arrange the asparagus and pour in 2 tablespoons of water. Microwave on high until tender, approximately 4 minutes.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, combine sesame oil and olive oil. Sauté asparagus for 1 minute, ensuring it's well coated in the oils. Then, mix in pumpkin and sesame seeds, and cook for an additional minute.
