Upgrade dinner with a quick and cheesy cheddar recipe for loved ones, ready in under an hour!
Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (14 oz) frozen broccoli florets, thawed and drained
  • 1 box (7.8 oz) Betty Crocker™ Deluxe creamy Cheddar au gratin potatoes
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 1/4 lb)
  • 2 slices (1 oz each) Cheddar cheese, cut diagonally in half
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and generously coat an 11x7-inch baking dish or 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the broccoli in a baking dish. Combine potatoes, Sauce Mix, Cheese Sauce, boiling water, margarine, and milk in a medium bowl. Spread this mixture over the broccoli. Then, place the chicken breast halves on top of the potato mixture.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Top chicken with cheese slices and sprinkle with Topping. Bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until cheese is melted and chicken is cooked through. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens to your liking.
