Aussie-inspired messy burgers packed with all the toppings you can imagine. A meal that's hearty and satisfying all in one bite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon
  • 4 pineapple rings
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8.25 ounce) can sliced beets, drained
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 Kaiser rolls, split
Instructions:
  • Heat up your outdoor grill until it reaches high heat.
  • Prepare the grill by lightly oiling the grilling surface. Shape the ground beef into four patties and grill each side for 5 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook onions until soft. Remove onions from skillet. Crack eggs into the skillet over medium heat and cook until yolks are set, flipping once. Remove eggs and set aside. Add Canadian bacon to the same skillet and toast. Remove bacon and increase heat to high. Briefly fry pineapple rings in bacon drippings until browned on each side.
  • Assemble sandwiches by placing a kaiser roll bottom on a plate, then layering a burger, a slice of cheese, Canadian bacon, fried egg, fried onions, beet slices, pineapple slice, tomato slice, and lettuce leaf. Customize the top bun with ketchup, mustard, relish, and mayonnaise to taste. Top the burger and repeat with remaining burgers.
