Australian Twist Tacos Juicy seasoned beef, crisp greens, and tangy tomatoes make these tacos a weeknight favorite. Perfect for quick dinners or fun gatherings with a variety of fillings like fish, vegan, and prawn tacos. Join us for Taco Tuesday!
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 medium brown onion, finely chopped
  • 5.00 gm ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 2.50 gm paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 500g 3 Star Regular Beef Mince
  • 400g can crushed tomatoes
  • 10 jumbo taco shells
  • 4 large iceberg lettuce leaves, shredded
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 375.00 ml grated tasty cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil and sauté onion until softened, about 3 minutes. Add cumin, coriander, paprika, and cayenne pepper, and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. Incorporate mince, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, and cook for 8 minutes until browned. Stir in crushed tomato and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
  • Heat the taco shells according to the package instructions. Fill the shells with the beef mixture and salad equally. Garnish with lettuce, chopped tomato, and cheese. Enjoy your delicious tacos!
